7-6-2009So there I stood, staring at the 78 something animals that had just gotten the okay for the death penalty from the higher ups… I nearly vomited right then. I swallowed hard and rushed to the phone. I made random calls to the people I knew could help me the most and got the word out that annihilation had been signaled. With their mystical powers of communication, 20 something animals were bustled out one by one. That left 58 innocent lives left, all caged and ignorant to the chaos that was devouring the shelter. My emotions were untamable as I fought back the tears that slammed against the back of my eyelids. I gazed at the playful paws o7-6-2009
